It's 1979 in Dallas, Texas.  Rock & roll band, Pulsar5, aches to be discovered -- to rise above the local nightclub scene, to perform their original songs, to be rock stars.  When they finally get a do-or-die audition and an offer from  a big-time agent, the band members find themselves torn between their conflicting definitions of success. Are they moving up--or selling out? Some rocky romantic relationships also threaten to wreck their dreams. But all is not lost, as each character learns what they want from music, love and the future.
